CJ presently resides in California while continuing her writing and preparing for art shows. She has lived both in Hawaii and in California, inspired by the beauty and nature of both states. During her time in Hawaii, she created an angelic ocean art series which included an original screenplay called Sea Angels. Also, she toured the island with the Aloha Theater Company as an actress, including aspects of the theater behind the scenes, winning awards for creative make-up. She loved to volunteer her time and knowledge to young children’s projects such as ‘Youth in Theater.”

In California she lived in big Bear Lake and ran the largest writers’ group in the San Gabriel Mountains. She worked with Log Homes Realty Company, creating artistic renderings of log homes for contractors, all featured in “Log Home Magazine.,” She also had a newspaper column for children called Dream. Buddy Cares featured in The Alpenhorn Newspaper located in Lake arrowhead,

‘Dream Bunny…A Rabbit’s Tale”, and the character Dream Bunny, has become her favorite of all her original works. CJ envisions children from all around the world being inspired by Dream Bunny’s message to use their imagination and have with the final message to all is “Always be young at heart.”
